Therapy according
to
BAUNDSCHEIDT
|
|
It is also called the "Acupuncture of Europe". Baundscheidt, a German,
developed this kind of treatment using first his own body suffering from
chronic polyarthritis as a mean of testing experiment.
Once when sitting on a bench in his garden during a warm and humid evening
being vexed by pain in his fingerjoints, he was stung several times by
moskitos into his hands and fingers. At first paying not much attention to
the swelling caused by the moskitobites he nevertheless realized after a
certain time a lessening of the pain in his fingerjoints.
Because of this experience which he could verify in further
selfexperiments he developed a kind of therapy using instead of the
moskitos, which by any means were not always aivailable, a device he
invented and called the "Lebenswecker".
With this device the skin over certain areas of the body are needled and
then a special ointment, prepared according to Baundscheidt, is used to
enhance the effect of selfdetoxification. This may be of more or less
benefit for the patient easing pain and impairment.
